The Angular Geared Motor with a High Power Density
Helical bevel geared motors are angular geared motors where the gear unit output shaft is rotated through 90° to the motor shaft. Helical bevel geared units can either have a solid or a hollow shaft. Helical bevel geared motors represent the ideal solution for drive tasks where an angular geared motor with high power density is required with continuously high output torques.
MOTOX helical bevel geared motors are available in the power range up to 200 kW and rated gear unit torques up to 20,000 Nm.
The geared motors are available in the following versions:
- Foot or flange-mounting versions
- Version with torque bracket
- Solid or hollow shaft
- Hollow shaft with key connection, shrunk-on disk, splines
